The team, listed alphabetically above, was selected in a vote of the coaches.

Throughout the 2008-2009 school year The Sun considers for All-Sun team inclusion the five Shawnee Mission and four Blue Valley high schools, as well as Bishop Miege, St. Thomas Aquinas and Kansas City Christian. The Sun's sports staff determines prior to each new school year which schoools will receive All-Sun inclusion for that school year based on The Sun's circulation areas.
