St. Mark's hosts United in Freedom Fiesta St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 6422 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, hosts a United in Freedom Fiesta from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 27. The event features ethnic food, international music and entertainment, children's games, piñatas, and street vendors. The Fiesta is the brainchild of William Del Valle and Maribel Vazquez. They wanted to create a celebration that encompasses the love of freedom of all people. The event provides opportunities for many cultures to display with pride their expressions of freedom and their gratefulness for living in a nation that recognizes that privilege.
