Community college hosts Great Decisions |

The Community Services Division at Johnson County Community College will offer its Great Decisions 2010 discussions from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 9 through March 9, in the Polsky Theatre of the Carlsen Center, College Boulevard and Quivira Road. Discussions, which are free and open to the public, focus on foreign policy issues facing the nation. Discussions are as follows: • Feb. 9, “The Persian Gulf,” Gary Hobin, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College; • Feb. 16, “Russia and Its Neighbors,” Mark Wilcox, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College; • Feb. 23, topic and speaker pending; • March 2, “Global Financial Crisis,” Chris Kuehl, Ph.D., Armada Corporate Intelligence; • March 9, “Global Crime,” William Lambert, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. Reference will be made to the Great Decisions 2009 manual prepared by the Foreign Policy Association. The manual may be purchased at the college bookstore.
